Summary
The overall aim of this current work was to investigate the shelf life and canning practices of infant formula. The project was divided into three main objectives: (1) to determine the shelf life of an infant formula, (2) to determine the gas composition ratio to be flushed that provides an optimal physical appearance to infant formula cans, and (3) to set a maximum "exposure time" allowed between the flushing and seaming of cans at the canning line
