Summary
The aim of this project was to develop a convenient bakery product to be marketed in the breakfast category. A vanilla flavoured muffin with a strawberry, yoghurt flavoured filling was chosen based on idea screening methods and an online consumer survey. The product concept was then further developed by a focus group. The key attributes for the product to be successful were: convenience, nutrition, value based on weight, shelf life, flavour appeal, physical appearance, price and brand--Summary
